Favorite Things to Do in Houston
A few weeks ago we went to Houston for a little weekend getaway and had a blast! Here are some of our favorite things to do in Houston…with a toddler of course.
We technically went to watch the Diamondbacks play the Astros, and loved it. The Diamondbacks lost, but we still had fun. The fans are very friendly (even to opposing fans). I know baseball season is over, but I highly recommend going. The train is fun too. Even if you aren’t an Astros fan, you’ll be secretly hoping for an Astros home-run so you can watch the train go by.
8th Wonder Brewery
Before the game, head over to 8th Wonder Brewery. They have A LOT of old Astrodome paraphernalia (like really cool stuff), some food trucks, and games outside for the kids and young at heart.
Houston Museum of Natural Science
When my kid is around a dinosaur museum, you visit said dinosaur museum. Obviously. Her first dino experience was in DC when she was 7 months old. From there, she fell in love with dinos and we’ve continued to foster that love and curiosity. The dino exhibit here is very impressive!
