The Best Year Ever

As I sit here, scotch on the end table, the smell of freshly baked cake in the kitchen, the sea of emotions are rushing through me. Tomorrow, my baby, my little one, my girl, my daughter will be ONE. I'm a little sad. A lot happy. But mostly just proud and thankful. Proud of the little person she's turning into. And thankful that I'm her mom. This year has been full of joy, tears, doubts, laughter, fear, humility, triumphs, sleepless nights, restless nights, hugs, kisses, diapers - so many diapers, 3am feedings, more Amazon orders than I care to admit, and a love so deep I ache. I'll save the rest of the ushy gushy stuff for a letter I write to her - to read when she's older. So, I'll leave you with these. Her photos throughout the year.

Happy birthday, my little love. We love you more than you know.
